Inspired by Poets Corner; award-winning poetry producers Apples & Snakes commissioned three poems reflecting on Brixton’s past, present and future from well-respected local poets Breis, Malika and Ty.
All 3 poets wrote words and poems about the radical heritage of Railton Road for the project Ghost Poetry Trail. These poems will form a trail of ghost murals, in the area of Brixton known as Poets Corner. This stands as radical rebalancing of the geo-cultural narrative, marking this significant site of resistance for future generations.
